What Swimcraft is
Swimcraft is a fishing simulator with a difference: you take photographs of the waters you love and turn them into venues you can fish. Trace the bank, the islands, the depths and the features, stock it with fish, and it becomes a playable peg. Coarse, carp and sea fishing sit in one game, with an honest cast, a fight where fish run, tire and test your tackle, and records tied to the swim where they were set.
Headline features
- Photo-to-venue creator. Build a fishable venue from your own photos of a real swim: water, islands, depth bands, the lake bed, pegs and stocking.
- Species creator. Design and save your own fish species; sharing them with the community arrives in Early Access.
- A real fight. Fish run, tire and test the rod, reel and line, with a strain read-out you feel rather than calculate.
- Tackle and bait that matter. Rods, reels, lines, hooks, floats, rigs and baits across five tackle brands, unlocked with XP as you progress.
- Coarse, carp and sea. Float, feeder, carp and beach rigs, each with its own rig screen and drawn diagram.
- Records. Peg, venue and global leaderboards, every record tied to the swim where it was caught.
- Realistic mode. No on-screen prompts and per-species strike timing, for anglers who want it straight.
Lure fishing, online tournaments and community venue sharing are planned for Early Access and later; they are not in the demo.
